~still no "official" word on the promotion, but from all things that have been said and unsaid around the office, i'm thinking that it is 95-99% chance that it's mine. i will find out "officially" tomorrow. from things my boss has said and comments that he's made, it sounds like it's a done deal, but as ya'll know, nothings done until it's done. either way i'll be doing something a bit different than what i am doing and i'll be making more money. woo hoo!

~i can still see! (no, it's not that i expect i'll wake up and NOT be able to see, but it's still so new that i can wake up and see, that it still catches me by surprise.) i find myself acting like a dumbass as i stop halfway across rooms and see how far away i can read things. i'm hoping this will pass. i caught myself doing it during our meeting at work on tuesday and had to focus myself back on the meeting!

~tried to post some pictures on here last night of gabbi and gemini, but couldn't get bloggerbot to work. does anyone know of another free photo hosting program? i would be much obliged. gemini didn't mind me taking his picture at all, but ms. gabbi? the fraidy cat that she is kept running away! i got quite a few pictures of her tail as she booked away, but didn't think they were very flattering! i'll keep trying.

~i'm doing some research and need a little feedback. once i get this new promotion (hopefully) i'll have to do a lot more driving than i do now. at least until i'm able to buy a house in the little town that i want to live in. so i'm looking for a new vehicle. it must have 4wd or all wheel drive, as when it does snow here, it's usually bad. i currently have a chevy cavalier, which i love, but it also has 85k miles on it and by the end of the year, with the added driving i'll be doing, it'll probably be 95k or more. i'm currently looking at the following 3 vehicles as possibilities. toyota rav4, jeep grand cherokee and dodge durango. does anyone have one of these or have you in the past? if so, what did/do you love about it and what did/do you hate? thanks!

~that's about all for now. i've been quite pleasantly surprised to see some new "faces" in the comments sections and when checking out their sites, to find myself blog rolled on their sites. it's an awesome feeling! i just wanted to thank you all for taking the time to read my nonsense! --------
