(no, i didn't "get lucky") ms. doxie has posted again! woo hoo! yes, i know this makes me sad and pathetic. my friends love me anyway! now, on to the review...... so last night i went out with my friend on our monthly "date nite". we went to dinner and went and saw anchorman, starring will ferrell. OMG! this movie was so fucking funny! can you say tears-running-down-your-face-because-you're-laughing-so-hard? THAT'S how funny this movie was. i highly recommend it. in fact, i give it 4 thumbs up. (2 from me and 2 from my friend that saw it with me.) there are quite a few cameos in this movie that were hysterical. didja see dodgeball? the cameos in that? (lance armstrong, chuck norris, david hasselhoff, jason bateman) all good. very funny. don't hold a candle to the cameos in anchorman. one of the funniest jokes was sadly not gotten by the majority of the viewers in the showing i went to, due to the fact that most of that group was 18 or younger. if ya'll remember the song "afternoon delight" by the starland vocal band, you'll get the joke. if you don't, it'll still be a funny moment, but not as funny. this is one of those movies that you need to stay until the end of the credits for. and while you sit there, you'll wonder how in the hell they EVER actually got through the shooting on this film! this is a movie that i will definitely buy when it comes out on dvd! --------
