AUTHOR: tbooty DATE: 2/02/2005 10:00:00 AM ----- BODY: as it is still the slow time of year for my job, i've had copious amounts of time to surf the net and do general slacking off at work. needless to say, i've come upon some interesting tidbits. also? have had random thoughts about numerous things. for example:

did you know that costco sells caskets??? i did not know this and while i suppose it makes a certain amount of sense as they also sell life insurance and cars, it still freaked me out a little.
after 2 dates where the man asks you out, is it ok/even permissible for the woman to do the asking for the 3rd date?
people that say "i shouldn't be telling you this but....." should NOT be in management positions!
it is really difficult to get motivated to go to work in the morning when you know you have no work to do.
wondering if zoot has pre-ordered her harry potter #6 from costco yet. if not, i can do it for you if you like. it's only $16.99 there.
i must be the only person on the planet that isn't a fan of the sun. it's beautiful out today, yet all i can do is bitch about the sun because i sit in front of a glass door that has no blinds and i get direct sunlight for 90% of the day and it makes me hot!!!
the duran duran concert is in 35 days! woo hoo! can't wait!!
just realized that the concert falls into the period of time when i'll have the house to myself for a week and a half! party at my house! (kidding!)
found the coolest gift for my dad for his birthday. now i just have to see if i can get my brother to go in halves with me.
i found out that my gym (which i have been totally NOT going to cuz i'm a slacker) has kick boxing classes on mondays and wednesdays and i'm thinking of trying that out. it's only $5 a class, or $10 a month if i add it on to my monthly membership. which means that if i liked it and went once a week, it'd be $2.50 per class. can't beat that.
people in my office steal stuff (food mostly) so that i never leave anything in the freezer or fridge. which means that when i want a soda, i put it in the freezer to get it cold quicker. guess who left their diet pepsi (in plastic bottle, thank God) in the freezer for 2 hours this morning?
diet pepsi turns all weird shades of whitish/grey when frozen. heh.
7 hours is a long long time to be on a first date with someone you don't know all that well.
am not happy that ALIAS is not on tonight. however, it gives me a chance to catch up on tivoed stuff again.
